Large gas savings and perfect gas composition with PBI-Dansensor gas mixers and super mixers!
PBI-Dansensor now offers a total line of gas mixers – a proportional gas mixer, an electronic gas mixer and a high capacity mixer, meaning you are able to find just the equipment for your needs. The concept of these gas mixers are that they communicate with the packaging machine, and when the operator changes the packaging program of the packaging machine, then the information contained in that program will automatically execute the right setting of the gas mixer.
This concept has for some years been working to the satisfaction of the company’s customer within flow packaging machines, but is now extended to customer working with gas/vacuum packaging machines (tray sealers and thermoforming machines).
The automated gas mixers are integrated with online oxygen and carbon dioxide gas analysers, thus offering a complete automated MAP-station.
PBI-Dansensor is proud to present 3 new developments inside the Gas Mixing area, which has been one of our specialities for many years. Our focus has been concentrated against high capacity gas mixing mainly targeting customers primarily using a larger amount of gas. Secondly we have developed our range of electronic mixers for these segments where automation is of high importance. As the last and third completing invention we have developed a lab view based software programme (MixSet), which can control our electronic gas mixers in an easy and safe way.
Our new series of proportional 2 & 3 gas mixers will cover 5 new buffer versions and 4 new flow versions. With capacities from 25 – 1000 l/min. we believe that we have covered every need coming from the industrial segment where gas mixers are mounted on other machinery like packaging machines or a part of other industrial processes.
Gas Mixer Software
MixSet is a LabVIEW based software interface, which allows the user to define a new mix rate or quickly and easily to change to a predefined mix setting. Our electronic gas mixers are prepared for implementing via our MixSet programme in LabVIEW. LabVIEW is a powerful graphic development environment for signal acquisition, measurement analysis and data presentation.
Electronic Gas Mixers: “MAP Mix 8000 EL”
This new generation of gas mixers can now be controlled via a PC user interface or from a PLC on the packaging machine. The mixer is developed in a robust and sturdy design, which makes it possible to place it anywhere in or on the packaging machine. Setting up the correct parameteres will be a simple and secure routine.
Gas mixers to the food industry (gas packaging) are either directly installed on the packaging
machine, thus allowing for high flexibility - each machine can run with individual gas mixing or all packaging machines are supplied from a central, high capacity gas mixer. Our new high capacity gas mixers are mixing in a range from 120 – 200 m3/h which should satisfy every need coming from the industry. We will as a world premiere show a demonstration model at our booth, so please do not hesitate to visit us.
